On all volumes, bindings are solid, except Volume X has split starting at front hinge. Pages are unmarked but a little tanned. Plates are mainly b&w, with a few color -- and some have tissue protective pages for plates. Foldout pages in working order. Red leather covers with black and gold designs -- all volumes have a little wear to spine tips, and several of the spines are darkened. No dustjackets at issue. .
