Cambridge, UK: Cambridge University, Joseph Bentham. Octavo. Bookplate of Digby Legard on the front pastedown (Sir Digby Legard, 1729 - 1773, 5th baronet). Faded picture (presumed to be Sir Digby Legard) tipped onto the verso of the front free endpaper. Marbled endpapers. General wear and rubbing to the covers, old repairs to the corners. Repairs with some age to some of the pages by what looks like Japanese-type paper and paste; text below opaque but readable. Otherwise in good order. An opportunity to acquire an eighteenth century prayer book with some history at a reasonable price.
