c. 1745. 10" x 14-1/2"-25.4 x 36.8 cm. Copper engraved map. A couple of chips and creases to blank margins and a couple of very light creases in image, else a very good crisp clean image. A very good map of Asia Minor inclding the southern coast of the Black Sea, Turkey, Cyprus.

Interesting steel plate engraving of Asia Minor. Shows the area of Turkey, Armenia, Messopotamia, Syria, and the Arabian Desert.

Copper engraved map hand coloured in outline. Gaudy chart a little light else very good. A good chart showing the harbour of Scandaroon along the coast of Turkey with soundings, and compass rose. On a larger sheet including a smaller chart showing the coastline of Tripoli.

From "Nuovo Atlante DI Geografia Universale..." published in Milan by Batelli & Fanfani [c. 1821] . 7" x 8-1/4"-17.7 x 20.9 cm. Hand-coloured in outline nice wide margins, a very good impression. A detailed map of the Middle East including Armenia, Khorasan, Candahar, Kerman, Khohistan, Segistan the Caspian Sea and the Perisan Gulf.

16" x 19"-40 x48.2 cm. Neatline coloured map. Creasing mostly confined to blank margins but a couple in image to Mediterranean Sea and Cappadocia, repaired c/f at head and foot of blank margins and 2 small holes along c/f, area of very light browning to the Black Sea but a very good dark impression. Very decorative cartouches of putti with sheep and birds, and two putti mermaids in the Black sea. Shows Thrace, and the Aegean Islands across Asia Minor and Extending into Armenia, Assyria and Mesopotamia.

Darkening along c/f with repaired split to lower c/f margin, some chips to margins but on the whole very good. 13-1/2" x 19-1/2"-32.2 x 49.5 cm..
