Gilt stamping to spine. Teal endpapers. Profusely illustrated with photographs in b/w and color. Color plates. Contemporary photography by Marsh Davis. Signed on front endpaper by all three authors and the photographer. Includes catalog of buildings, with architects and ownership history, along Indianapolis's landmark Meridian Street from 40th street to Westfield Boulevard. Index of addresses. Binding sound. Tips sharp. Interior unmarked. Unclipped illustrated dustjacket. Back panel has slight edgewear, some creasing along top with two small closed tears, and rubbing near head of spine. Now in archival sleeve.

Amsterdam and New York: Joost Elffers Productions, 1982. First Issue. Hardcover. Small quarto. 10.25 x 7.25 inches. 20 pp (unpaginated). Near Fine. No dust jacket as issued. Original cardboard slipcase. Architectural pop-up book with no text but 10 different configurations of pop-up stairs. Blind stamped linen on boards. Presumed first issue, as no statement of edition present, and stated copyright date of 1982 is consistent auction records. Top board lightly foxed. Scattered internal foxing, notably on pastedowns. Slipcase edge-worn, chipped, and dented (see photos). Rein Jansma is a well-known Dutch architect and founder of the architectural studio ZJA.
