Themes from second mvmt. from Natalie Curtis's The Indian Book, themes from third mvmt. noted by composer in the villages of Santa Clara and Tesuque New Mexico. His immersion in Native American music in the 20s was capped by his orchestral suite Indian Dances (1927-28), which was performed by Stowkowski in Philadelphia.. Wraps.
