She was the daughter of surgeon in the Irish army who died young, her mother struggeled to bring her, her sister & brother up but the girls became authors and the brother an artist of some note. Vol 1, 358 pp, vol 2 , 303pp, vol, 3, 303pp. vol 4, 320pp. All in lovely condition with tan leather spine and corners black title & vol label gilt tiltes, ruling & bands, boards a duck egg blue with tiny gold flecks.
