Seems like there aren't many of these on the market, and I like to think it is because of their rarity rather than the other reason. The book shows very little wear, while the dust jacket has a few blemishes around the edges, including about three tears of a centimeter or less. From "Why is the sky blue?" to "Why are men's underwear known as BVDs?" to "Why do camels have humps?" So, if you want to know stuff, buy this book.

His goal was to answer every question emailed to him within 24 hours. Questions, answers and related factoids are gathered here into twenty topics, from Animal Kingdom and Clothing to Weather and the World.

A rather immense book with rather little wear. Thousands of photographs and brief descriptions of little fishies for your aquarium. Some small margin notes near some of the pictures, as seen in photo #4. Third edition. Kind of scarce. Great for weightlifting. This book is too heavy for my little scale but will ship at eight pounds or more. Excess shipping costs are included in the list price.

First edition, 156 pages. A collection of, as the title says, useless information. Page after page of little blurbs of trivia, organized into chapters for no apparent reason. There is even an index, in case you happen to be looking for a specific item of trivia. Pages show no real wear, but the front cover has two tears, a 2cm tear along the lower spine and a 1 cm tear at the opposite edge near the word "ATE". No spine creases.

Trade paperback. A reference for the budding biologist. Mostly in very good condition. The cover has a number of small blemishes, the final page is torn (nothing lost), and the owner's name is embossed in a couple of places. Otherwise, nothing to complain about. Some illustrations.

The padded leather cover is encased in a homemade plastic bookcover, probably to preserve the leather, which is deteriorating, especially over the spine and at some corners. Gilt print on the front and spine. Gift inscription inside the front cover (1884, to Ida from Arthur). Pages are gilt-edged all around. They are also clean, tight and unmarked. Chock full of quotations from the mid-19th century and before.
