Description:
Some wear around the edges and at the corners. Scattered notes throughout the book. In remarkably good condition for all the years and miles it has travelled. This is one of a number of books I acquired at an estate sale in Seattle that originally belonged to one Gertrude Pritchard of England in the early 1900s. I have gathered all of these books in a catalogue called "Pritchard Library".

Description:
Showing its age, there is a substantial amount of wear. The cover is tan cloth, but the cloth is missing over the spine. It is also well worn at the corners and lower edge. Pages are complete and mostly attached (one small packet is loose at the top), with a minor scattering of underlining and copious notes on both the front and back endpapers. owner's name inside the front cover and on the title page. The owner was Miss Gertrude Pritchard, a schoolteacher in England at the beginning of the 20th century. I acquired a number of her books from a recent estate sale in Seattle. All of Miss Pritchard's books are gathered in my "Pritchard Library" catalogue.

Description:
This book shows some wear at corners and edges. Owner's name and information in a couple places, as well as a few check marks at the table of contents. The "Specimens" are excerpts from many works of both nonfiction and fiction. This turn of the century book is one of a number I recently acquired with the name Gertrude (or G.) Pritchard, of England, very nicely written. They are dated during the first two decades of the 20th century. I have gathered all of these books under the Pritchard Library catalogue, and will continue adding to that catalogue as I get the books listed.
