Trade paperback. Very little wear. Spine is creaseless and the pages are clean, tight and unmarked. Inscription inside the front cover. Book consists of a listing of hundreds upon hundreds of places in Arizona, with cartographical locations, name origins and historical notes.

This short book shows a lot of its 148 years of wear. Paper covered boards have significant wear at the corners and edges. Fabric over the spine, part of which is tearing away at the base (see photos). Hinge splits in the endpapers, front and rear. Foxing on most pages, which remain tight and unmarked. Contains many black and white illustrations and color maps. In the rear is a 12-page addendum, Geography of the Pacific States and the Adjacent Territories. (When this book was published, Washington and Idaho were not yet states.) A very rare book.

No dust jacket. Cover has light blue fabric with black print. There is some wear along all edges and a stain at the lower right corner, both front and rear. May be a first edition, they don't really say. Owner's name on front endpaper, with a six-digit phone number. Otherwise, pages are clean and tight. The physical features are much the same today as in 1934, but any political and economic information would have to be considered as historical today. Seems to be a rare book.

No dust jacket. Green cloth covered boards with gilt print and decoration stamped on the front and spine. Spine is darkened a little. Some mild edgewear. Pages are clean, tight and unmarked, with many illustrations. This would be a very good book, other than one problem. The binding has split behind the endpaper, at the half-title page. Not just showing the binding fabric, but clean through (see photo #4). This kind of repair is beyond my abilities, so I am selling this as-is, leaving any repair to the buyer. A rare and interesting volume, first published in 1914. My copy would be one of the better looking copies on the market, if it weren't for this unfortunate break. Priced accordingly.
