143 pages of songs, most from the 1930s and before. The book gives a copyright date of 1935, but many of the songs show copywrite renewals of 1960 and 1961, so this printing is from at least then. There is a little sign of wear on the cover, but the pages are in very good shape. A rare book.

This book does not actually have a copyright date, but the songs do, and 1917 is the latest copyright date of any songs. Therefore the book has to have been published sometime after, but not too long. I have found accounts of Rev. Bulgin actively travelling the country with his revival in the 1920s. One would imagine he'd have had his song book with him at that time. Probably available to the attendees keep for a small fee.Cover is somewhat worn, with a few creases, a small tear, and a bit grimy. The stapled binding has allowed the middle sheet to come loose. Ok, the "New" of the title is probably best lumped in with the "Old" today. Contains 60 Christmas Carols. Sorry, no "Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer".Book is really in good condition for 80 years old. Seems really rare, too. Cover has some wear, pages pretty clean.

First edition. Book shows very little wear. Dust jacket has a little flaring along the bottom edge and has a 3 cm tear up from the bottom of the spine, inexpertly repaired with a single piece of tape. The CD is still in its pouch, which has never been opened.

First edition. Very little wear, almost like new. The story of a 14-year old rock and roll aficionado in 1971, which was a pretty good time for rock and roll. Filled with rock and roll facts and trivia, too. I refuse to consider this "historical fiction", but, in a way, it is.

Red cloth cover shows a little wear at the corners and along the edges of the spine. Decorative embossed front and back, with gilt print and decoration on the spine. There is a hinge break at the title page (see photo #4) redering the frontispiece page a little loose. All other pages appear to be tight, clean and intact. Complete with notes and indices of writers and first lines at the end of the book. There is no music for these songs, so this is effectively a book of poetry. There is no date of publication given within the book but the date of the introduction is 1897. However, the publisher was at the given address between 1907 and 1917, so the real date of publication has to be during that decade.

In spite of the title, there are 104 songs in this little book, published by a maker of pianos. Pages and cover are browned with age. Wrinkled, but little damage. Pages are tight and unmarked. A rare little music book, for voice and piano.
