There is also a stain inside the front cover on the free endpaper, possibly more of the glue. The deckle-edged pages are clean and tight. This is the third of eleven stories featuring Alvirah and Willy.

This small guide is intended to help plan children's parties around a number of themes, including New Years, Valentine's Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and more. Each party plan comes with a number of recipes and a beautiful full-page, full-color illustration by the well-known artist Frances Tipton Hunter. Many recipes specify the use of Calumet Baking Powder, so I presume that they were a sponsor of this publication (Additional copies were available for 10 cents with a coupon from your Calumet can, or 50 cents without.) This is a fairly rare book.

Ok, the "New" of the title is probably best lumped in with the "Old" today. Contains 60 Christmas Carols. Sorry, no "Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer".Book is really in good condition for 80 years old. Seems really rare, too. Cover has some wear, pages pretty clean.

Since this book has its own box, the book shows very little wear, other than an inscription inside the front cover. The box has a fair amount of wear along all the corners and edges. This book was put out by Frederick and Nelson, a long time retailer of clothing and household goods in the Pacific Northwest, until it went out of business in 1992. The book is a story about Freddy, a teddy bear and his Christmas. The book ends with a selection of simple Christmas tunes that could be played on the little electronic piano included in the book. The battery for that piano is now dead, sadly, and I am not sure if it can be replaced.

There is a little fading to the edges of the dust jacket and the endpapers, and the dust jacket has a couple small tears. First edition. This book will ship at over two pounds.
