VG+. Tear in a couple of the folds but NO loss of text or paper. Great for any B&C collection or to frame.

Clark, spent more than a year in what was then remote central Asian regions after Marco Polo sheep and Altai argali, etc. He also hunted ibex and ovis ammon, and was captured, imprisoned and tortured by the Mongols as well. A great hunting book and a story of adventure and survival as well. As new in like orig. slipcase.

Better than a reading copy.

Covers his early hunting days in the Karoo country, Kalahari Desert, Congo and what is now Tanzania. Excellent reading. One of the hardest Burger title to find in true first ed. Two former owner blindstamps, several pages had been folded. Otherwise vg to vg+ in the fair but rare dust jacket.

One of the most idfficult of all Amwell titles to obtain.

Unusual item. VG+ condition.

Author of the better known Killers in Africa and Hunter's Choice tells of his latest adventures in the African bush and some of his earlier experiences while working for meat hunters and ivory poachers. Relatively scarce compared to his other titles. Former owner's name written inside and several pages previously folded. Book itself is little better than VG. The scarce dj however is in poor shape with tape repairs. Priced is if it had no dj.
