Authors covered include: Walt Whitman, Daniel Dafoe, Charles Dickens, Izaak Walton, Harriet Beecher Stowe, George Du Maurier, John Bunyan, John James Audubon, Robert Burns, Mark Twain, Oliver Goldsmith, Nathaniel Hawthorne, Samuel Johnson, Edgar Allan Poe, Lewis Carroll, Washington Irving, Samuel Pepys, Edward FitzGerald, Benjamin Franklin, and William Makepeace Thackeray. The book itself is in very good condition, though the cover is a little rough, mostly from general shelf wear, and the binding is starting to split in the seam of the front cover.

A Dutch literary classic originally written in 1839. Camera Obscura is a collection of stories and reflections written by Hildebrand, pseudonym of Nicolaas Beets. He wrote most pieces as a student of theology in Leiden. Camera Obscura ' gives an image of the 19th-century Netherlands by trekschuit and Stagecoach.This is the 23rd Edition of the book printed in The Netherlands in 1904. It is written in the original Dutch. The spine has been broken and is half detached inside of the front cover but still intact and in decent condition. Some of the pages are partially detached, but they are all still there and intact. Cover has normal shelfwear. It has also been signed inside of the front cover by a previous owner. Overall it is in fair, readable condition. (If you can read Dutch).

Classic Charles Dickens, The novel's full title is The Personal History, Adventures, Experience and Observation of David Copperfield the Younger of Blunderstone Rookery (Which He Never Meant to Publish on Any Account). It was first published as a serial in 1849–50, and as a book in 1850. It is written in the first person, as a description of his life until middle age, with his own adventures and the numerous friends and enemies he meets along his way. It is his journey from being an impoverished, neglected child to a successful author. This printing was released 34 years after the original, and is in fair, readable condition. The cover has stains and shelf wear and the pages are quite yellowed, or browned from age, and a previous owner has written in the first couple of blank pages. The entire book however is still intact.
