They encounter Whirling Dervishes, Attila's Huns, sail back over the sea to Araby the Fair. [Author believed to be the same L.F. Tipped in photo of beautiful young Kathryn, student at Mt. Holyoke College, who spent her junior year at the Sorbonne in Paris, and met Remsen V. Wood there. Shortly after their marriage in Illinois she and her husband returned to France. Apparently, on that voyage, with heavy storms and violent seas, she developed a strange malady, and ddied at the American Hospital in Neuilly, France in January 1924.
