This edition seems to be the American outlet for the low-priced London, Harrap, 1917, edition. Ornamented with Persian-style woodcuts. The four tipped-in color plates are reduced, pale versions of the ones by Willy Pogany for the deluxe 1909 edition. Hard Cover. 93 pages, 4 color illustrations tipped in; 13 cm. (pocket size). Bound in brown cloth with gold lettering, top edge gilt; no dust jacket; Very Good. Stock#SmOB006.

The original Casanova Society edition, published in London the same year, explains: "These verses have been selected from The Book of The Thousand Nights and One Night which was rendered from the literal and complete version of Dr. J.
