United Kingdom: Collins. Very Good in Fair dust jacket. N.D.. Hardcover. A Very Good undated hardcover in a Fair dustjacket, both featuring racing drivers. Book is in clean illustrated boards, rubbed and bumped to the spine ends and corners. Internally, no writing or stamps, the crossword is not filled in, very tanned pages with foxing to prelims. The bright, unclipped dustjacket has closed and open tears, particularly to the spine head which has a 3 cm loss, small losses and chips to the ends and tips - supplied in a new removable archival sleeve. The first story is 'The Red Leopard' by Showell Stiles which is also the subject of the colour frontispiece. A very nice copy. Book is in lightly aged, illustrated, paper-covered boards with an illustration featuring a boy on board ship with the captain pointing forward with iceberg behind. The boards are rubbed to the bottom edges, the fabric spine strip is rubbed and bumped to the ends with small frayed spot to the heel. Internally good with light ghost of previous owner's name on the front endpaper, very tanned pages, very tanned to the text-block edges. Colour frontispiece by Lendon & Way.
