This issue differs in some important details from that of 1891 according to a printed note on the reverse of title page. Hard cover book in very good condition. Slight wear to board edges and small tear on top edge of rear board, wear to spine tips and corners bumped. A few small marks on boards. Very slight foxing. Used by a long-range Mustang Fighter Group escorting bombers of the US Eighth Air Force to Germany, also by four squadrons of Marauder bombers, and by the Stirling tugs and Horsa gliders of the RAF who eventually took part in the final airborne operation of the war, the Rhine Crossing.
