Loaded with stories and ads, illustrations and Maps; Full-page Kentucky & Tennessee, Yorktown, The Mississippi, Fort Pulaski & Savannah - 2 maps, Burnsides Operations in No. Carolina, Eastern VA, Map of the Missippi Valley in 2 parts, NC & VA Seaboard, etc... several more, I think some every Issue. New series No's 180 - 191. Bds are good, contents pages are very good and better.

1862 Original printing, 14 pages bound into a hard case 'Photomount Pamphlet Binder'. Very good with the small round blindstamp of the Long Island Historical Society on the first, 2nd and last pages. Quite scarce.

A near fine partial set for reasonable money.

A good reading set with brittle/worn faux leather spines, some are falling off. Reasonable price.

None "2004 Elizabeth Lauterbach Laskin (Harvard), "Good Old Rebels: Soldiering in the Army of Northern Virginia, 1862–1865" (Oxford University Press, forthcoming)".... (from internet search) Although no such title was ever published according to further research. These 2 volumes are the bound copies the author had made for her PhD thesis in 2003. I know not how many copies were produced but I can see that it represents a tremendous amount of work and research by her. Additionally it was also clearly recognized as such by other historians as the author won the 'Allan Nevins Prize', 2004: The Allan Nevins Prize is awarded annually for the best-written doctoral dissertation on a significant subject in American history. First Book published by Hurlbut, Williams & Company, the second by American Book Company. 506 pp. + [2] ad; [3]-702 pp. The books are in Good condition and were issued without a dust jacket. Both are matching full-leather bound, brown with black leather spine labels and coral end papers. Spines are missing pieces on both volumes, a replaced spine would be advantageous to both. Period bindings in leather for this set of original first printings in good condition. Complete with all pages and plate illustrations.

1865 Boston. 1865., 1865. xiii,13-331pp. plus plates. Portrait. Contemporary cloth. moderate wear from a rural NH library with plates & a pocket, loaned out only a few times, nice condition. . After attending Yale and Harvard and studying law, Camp enlisted in the Union Army, was wounded in the Battle of Roanoke Island, participated in the first expedition against Charleston, was taken prisoner, and finally killed in battle at Richmond.

A large map measuring 28" x 38-5/8" (including 1"+ margins) with 2 inset maps, Lower Portions of Florida and Texas. Original unsophisticated condition with minor loss at a few fold junctions and a long split along the horizontal fold near the title. Quite scarce.

Reunion at Chattanooga, (1950) portrays events in the Tennessee city during the years of the Reconstruction after 1865.
