Vol. 1 has 464pp, Vol. 2 467pp. Both have maps, engravings, and tissue guards in place. End papers are dark brown. Both volumes have damp stains and foxing throughout with edges dust dulled. Vol. 1 is slightly cocked and has two newspaper clippings about Prof. L. L. Dyche laid in which have caused substantial foxing to pp 66 and 67.
