Tightly bound, the front and back covers and spine have ornate type and decoration. Overall light soil but more noticeable at spine and back. Wear to edges with boards barely showing. Light age tanning throughout. Cloth binding has tears at top and bottom of spine. Hinges are weak but holding. Soil from use as well as foxing to end papers and text. FFEP missing as well as several tears to pages with a hole at page 65/66. FO names to front pastedown and title page. Later owner sticker to front pastedown with a few light pencil marks throughout. End papers and text lightly foxed and lightly age-tanned. Breaks in paper at both front and back gutters with netting showing but holding. Covers have light rubbing with a corner of paper missing from front at spine. This set has cloth tape binding at spines as issued, and appears to be unused. A few very small discoloration marks to cover.
