Gilt titled black boards, publisher's red slipcase with tipped-on photograph of the author. A near fine copy, without dustwrapper, as issued. John Miller was a film director doing a series of interviews with Joanne Carson - Johnny's second wife and Truman's dearest friend. Joanne arranged for Truman to inscribe copies of, A Christmas Memory and One Christmas for John. A copy of a typed affidavit signed by Miller on his letterhead detailing his relationship with Carson and Capote. A lovely original 5" x 7" black and white photo by Tim Berrith of Joanne Carson, Truman Capote and John Miller which is also inserted into the book along with a copy of an explanatory transmittal note to John Miller in Joanne Carson's hand.

Of All of the cousins Truman lived with as a child, Lucille Faulk Ingram & her daughter were his closest kin.
