Gray stapled paper covers with teal stripe, 8vo, 16 pp. This essay, written in third month, 1772, near the end of John Woolman's life, was not published in 'The Journal and Major Essays of John Woolman' (Oxford, 1971). The essay consists of conversations between a labourer, a rich man, and a thrifty landowner - with economic and class insights that could be applied today.
