With a business card and postcard laid in at front. 117 pp., some b/w photos at front. The biography of Japanese Opposition leader Jotaro Kawakami, penned by his wife shortly after his death.

California: Regal Books, 2003. First printing. Hardcover. Good/good. Signed and inscribed inside the book on the first blank, "For Les Best Wishes - John Wooden." Red hardcover 1st edition in dustjacket. A good only copy with heavy wear at the corners and spine ends. Interior is better - unmarked other than a notation on the top of the front pastedown "Read 10-2007" Binding is solid. Unclipped jacket is bright but with bending at the tips of the spine panel and folds, some light soling to the front cover. 172 pp., 60 inspirational bits from legendary coach John Wooden.

New Jersey: Fleming H Revell Co, 1978. First edition. Hardcover. Very Good/good +. Tan hardcover 1st edition in dustjacket. Signed and inscribed twice on the first blank by the author, "To Vera, God bless you in the love of Jesus, our saviour, Sincerely, Dale Evans Rogers." and "Thanks for ministering to my grand child, Mindy! Dale." A very good copy with bending at the lower corners and spine ends. Text is clean and unmarked and the binding is tight as if unread. Unclipped jacket is good with chips and short tears at the edges and folds. 135 pp., another one of Dale's religious books geared at the bettering of society.

New York: Association Press, 1912. Paperback. Fair. Black imitation leather binding with gilt titles. A fair copy with the spine covering coming loose along the whole of the front joint. Wear at the corner tips and light soiling to the covers. The interior is much better, clean, solid and unmarked. 235 pp., a devotional book originally put out by the YMCA board.

London: Printed by Miles Flesher, for Brabazon Aylmer, at the Three Pigeons, 1683. Leather_bound. Fair. 1683 - no additional dates. Full leather binding with spine bands. Spine title darkened but legible, Barrow Works Vol. 2 Heavy wear and bumping to the corners and spine tips. Rear joint is fragile and both joints show through the leather in some places. A hard gouge to the top of the front cover through the leather, about dime size. Previous owner's name neatly to the front free-end paper. Red and black title page printing. Some pages dog eared, and all pages somewhat foxed and age toned. Binding and hinges intact, but fragile. 525 pages plus unpaginated index. Barrow is best known for his gifts to mathematics, but this, volume 2 of a three volume set, focuses solely on religion. Liz's Books
