Signed by the author without personalization on the title page, "Be Wild! Adam Werbach." A very good copy with bending at the spine tips and mild wear at the board edges. Interior is clean and unmarked, in a solid binding - lightly read. One page creased from being folded down toward the back of the book. Unclipped dustjacket is also very good - matching wear at the spine panel tips and a crease to the bottom of the front flap - bright and attractive. 307 pp., a call to environmental activism and local conscious living from the Sierra Club president.

Minor shelf-wear and light scuffs to the covers. 563 pp. An important study of climate, warming, and ecology in the Amazon River region.

Seattle: Seattle Audubon Society, 1996. Second printing. Paperback. Good. Trade paperback 2nd printing in good only condition. General edgewear and a bit of corner bending to the top rear. The big flaw is the spine split, very near the center of the book - all pages are still firmly bound in, but the book opens wide and the binding is visible in the split. A clean and unmarked copy. 168 pp. full color photos of the various species throughout.

New York: Little, Brown and Company, 2007. Third printing. Hardcover. Very Good/very good. Tan hardcover in dustjacket. Signed and inscribed by the author on the title page, "For Terry, There is a scent, a line of tracks. Follow them. Craig." And then signed in full again above his name on the title page. Upper corners bumped and a bit of bending at the spine ends. Large previous owner's gift inscription on the front free endpaper, otherwise a clean unmarked copy. Unclipped jacket with matching edgewear and corner bumps, still bright and attractive. 322 pp., some black and white illustrations. A great collection of essays on encounter native animals in the North American wilderness.

California: The Bichon Frise Club of San Diego, Inc., 1995. Spiral_bound. Good. Softcover spiral bound, no indication of printing. A good copy in red comb binding. Corners bent , but all pages firmly bound in, and comb binding is solid and not cracked. A clean and unmarked text with a small stain to the last page being the only soiling. 270 pp., filled with b/w photos and a listing of the dogs and breeders predominant in the San Diego arena.

A good copy with previous owner's name to the top of the front cover and some bending at the corner tips. Interior is clean and unmarked in a solid binding. Solid heavy binding, tight as if unread, and clean unmarked pages. 524 pp., indexed, lengthy bibliography. White's checklist of these southeast Asian birds, published after his death with inclusions and content from Bruce. Please note - this is not a visual guide - no photos or plates are included.

A good copy but with bending at the corners and spine tips and some soiling to the front cover. Binding is strong and solid and pages are all clean and unmarked. Lacking crispness. 483 pp., indexed, black and white illustrations, one color plate.

Oversize tan paperback - governmental report from the U.S. Army Engineers, prepared by the John Graham Company of Seattle. A good only copy with heavy use, with wear and some bending to the covers, including corners. Spine covering split at the extremeties. and some soiling and discoloration to the light covers. The interior is clean and unmarked other than a withdrawn mark from the National Institute for Urban Wildlife. 179 pp., fold out charts and photos. An in-depth look at vegetation and sea-bird use of natural and dredged material islands from Coos Bay, Oregon to Anacortes, Washington. Difficult to find in its original format.

A good copy but with age-toning and foxing to the cover, some text pages, and textblock edges. General wear to the cover edges and bumping at the spine tips. The interior is unmarked in a solid binding, lacking tightness. The unclipped jacket is only barely good with short tears along the panel edges and crinkling at the bottom front panel from a longer tear - now protected in mylar. 192 pp., some black and white photos. Baker was one of the founding members of The Men of the Trees - a conservationist group.

A very good copy with little wear to the edges and a very slight curve at the front board. Clean and unmarked, tight as if unread. Dustjacket is also very good - bright and attractive with one small knick at the top of the front panel. 428 pp., indexed, charts, graphs and some photos. A beautiful book.

A good only copy with heavy wear at the spine ends, a hard bump to the bottom of the front board and a light upward cocking to the bind. Binding is solid but rear hinge is starting to crack. Pages are clean and unmarked. Unclipped dustjacket is much better - very good, bright and attractive, protected in mylar. 374 pp., indexed, three picture inserts, some color. The desperate attempt to save the wild tiger from extinction and Day's daring efforts to expose illegal trafficking in Asia.

Oregon: Douglas County Museum of History and Natural History, 1986. Spiral_bound. Good. Mildred Thiele. Spiral bound oblong that opens like a calendar. A good copy, but with writing in red and blue ballpoint ink - notes and circling in some pages - heaviest on the mapping pages at front. Previous owner's name to top of front cover. Corners are bumped and some wear to the edges. 68 pp., a listing of all regions where local flora are found in the Douglas County region of Oregon.

Canada: Friends of the Provincial Museum, 1976. Staplebound. Good. Ann Krahn. Thin paperback pamphlet, in ex-library condition. Stamps (including the Discard stamp as expected) to the inside of the front cover, and the rear cover, blacked out. Previous store price stamp on the first page. Bending at the corners and some soil to the white covers, including sticker outlines where the call number tag was. Text is unmarked and the stapled binding is solid. 20 pp., a guide to resolving and preventing infestations in museums and their collections.

Library markings include a withdrawn stamp, call number tag, two blacked out sections and a date. Front cover and spine appear to be the only library marked areas. Good in spite of the library markings. Binding solid and without creases - does not lay open. General wear to the cover edges and some sunning to the spine panel. Three maps in the rear pocket and a bump to the lower rear corner. 515 pp., with heavier wear at the index region.

A good copy wtih general wear to the board edges, some bending at the spine tips. A few white dots of discoloration to the rear board. Binding is solid but lacking in tightness. Pages are clean and unmarked. Dustjacket with short tears and crinkling along the top edges of the panels and light soiling. 334 pp., 12 color plates, and a comprehensive bibliography and index to the entire series. Focus is on details of distribution, habits, breeding, diet, and voice.

A good only copy with heavy bumping to the corners, the upper front corner split to the board. Some soiling and darkening to the covers, and soil and foxing to the text block edges. The interior is much better. Pages are clean and unmarked and the binding and hinges are solid. 171 pp., the first of Bailey's "Background Books" - it was followed by "Wind and Weather" which is also listed on the other works page - making this mostly likely a 2nd pressing.
