Previous owner's inscription on the title page from a marine in "George" company. 60 pp., filled with black and white photos and appendices detailing honors, officers and a chronology.

Signed without inscription by the author on the title page. A very good copy with light bending to the lower corners and spine ends and a shallow bump to the head of the spine. A clean tight copy with solid hinges and binding. Unclipped dustjacket with mild wear at the panel edges, bright and attractive. 383 pp., an endearing novel of Alabama, Hollywood, the deep south and racial tension.

Scuffing and wear at the edges, most noticeable at the spine column with some small spots of paper loss. Interior is clean an unmarked, with a handful of lower corners dog-eared. 139 pp., some b/w photos. A guide by county to historic sites of interest to treasure hunters.

Sticker to the bottom of the title page indicating distribution by the Genealogical Publishing Company. A good copy with general shelfwear to the covers and minor bending at the edges. Spine tips are rubbed. Previous owner's name to the inside of the front cover and check marks and notations throughout the text. Light crease across the first gathering - visible in the picture. 144 pp., a comprehensive list of members of the militia.
