An interesting series of stories on illustrating Buddhist principles.

Light scuffing and soil to the light blue jacket panels. 51 pp., the story of two pugs separated at birth but destined to be reunited. Black and white illustrations by Natalie Babbitt.

A clean, straight and tight copy, as if unread. The jacket is also very good, bright and clean. Unpaginated, bibliography at rear, full color illustrations by Horak including a page with an illustrated map of the race course. A great piece of Minnesota history.

Signed by the author and the illustrator on a special bookplate on the page facing the title page. A very good copy of this children's picture book - clean, straight, and tight. Bright pictoral boards in a dustjacket that is not as good with splits and short tears at the folds, a short tear in the center of the spine panel, and ruffling to the panel edges. Unpaginated, a beautiful juvenile book from art publisher Harry N. Abrams - and the illustrations do not disappoint. A lovely telling of the building of the covered bridge at Philippi. West Virginia and Lemuel Chenoweth's plans and engineering.

The author's first children's book.

Flansburgh has signed on the front endpaper and Linnel on the first blank before the title page. Gift inscription, possibly from the authors, says "Not 4 Ella & Elyse." DVD in opened rear pocket. A clean bright copy in like jacket, nicely signed by this eclectic grammy winning duo.

A picture of farm life in Torbel.

Jacket with minor shelf wear, bright and clean. 146 pp., a young adult book telling the historical adventure of a capture by the Seneca tribe.

Full number line should indicate first printing, but the dustjacket carries the "New York Times Best Seller" blurb that indicates at least as second state dustjacket. A very good copy with light crimping at the spine tips and a couple of pencilled Xs to the top and bottom edge of the text block. Minor bowing upward. Interior - a clean and tight copy. The dustjacket is also very good, clean and with minimal shelfwear to the panel edges, price on rear panel is US $18.99/$20.99 CAN. This particular ISBN was a special issue, all of which were autographed by the author.

Pages are firmly bound in and free of markings (other than the occasional library stamp). Some dog-eared corners and few light specks of foxing. Unpaginated, with color and black and white illustrations by the famed author/illustrator pair.

Fair only condition - all pages present and legible - the bottom corner of page 37 is torn off, well below the end of the text. Small notations to the top of the front cover and the title page. Some pages have been colored in crayon - others are untouched. No bleed-through on pages that have been colored. There is soil to the covers and to some of the pages, and the low-quality paper is age-toned but no brittle. General edge-wear - it is showing it's age and use - but intact, spine solid and Eugene (the jungle pet) is adorable. 71 pp., tri-tone and quad-tone illustrations (except where enhanced with crayon).
