Signed and inscribed by co-author and American hero Alek Skarlatos on the page facing the half-title, "To Carolyn - It was great to meet you, thanks for the support!" Black hardcover 1st edition with silver spine titles in dustjacket. A good+ copy but with a hard bump to the head of the spine, and a smaller bump to the bottom edge of the front board. A clean tight copy, unmarked other than the author's inscription. Unclipped dustjacket is very good - bright and attractive with minimal wear to the panel edges. 245 pp., the story of a terrorist attack averted by three alert and heroic American travelers. Alek Skarlatos, who signed this copy, has run for Oregon 4th Congressional District - US House of Representatives in two elections.

Published by the author, 2012. Paperback. Good. Signed by the author/compiler Cleta Gresham Rokey, Bert's wife, "To Joe my good neighbor, Cleta Rokey" on the title page. A good copy but with wear to the cover edges and bending at the corner tips. The front cover has a bit of a lift. The interior is clean and unmarked and the binding is solid without creasing. 482 pp., some black and white photos at rear. A collection of Bert Rokey's letters from the South Pacific in World War II and the realities of rationing at home in Sabetha, Kansas. Rokey was part of the 24 Infantry Division, 34th Regiment - the Leyte Dragons.

Signed by two of the soldiers from the Band of Brothers, Buck Compton and Don Malarkey, on the title page without inscription. Blue hardcover, 1st edition, in dustjacket. A very good copy with crimping at the spine tips and a shallow bump at the top of the rear board. Clean, square, and tight as if unread. Unclipped jacket with $24.95 price intact. Jacket has ruffling to the top panel edges and general light - bright and attractive with the 5/08 publishing marke rto the rear flap. 275 pp., indexed, black and white photo section. The story of paratrooper Buck Compton of Easy Company, nicely signed by two of the Band of Brothers.

Signed and inscribed by Medal of Honor recipient Major General Patrick Henry Brady on the dedication page, "For Dave & Vicki All God's best Pat Brady." A fair to good copy with heavy wear to the cover edges and creasing at the front joint. Corners bumped and many pages are dog-eared. The binding is solid and without creases. 290 pp., black and white photos throughout. The story of the 54th Medical Detachment, Dust Off Helicopter Ambulances, and the heroism that brought Brady a Medal of Honor.

New York: Jonathan Cape & Harrison Smith, 1931. First edition. Hardcover. Fair. Hardcover, 1st edition, in fair to good condition, lacking dustjacket. Heavy wear to the corners and spine tips with some loss of the cloth. Spine sunned and titles faded. Rear hinge is damaged, with the webbing showing through the paper. The front hinge is weak, but intact. Photo of Evans is pasted to the front endpaper, perhaps a piece of the dustjacket, and a previous owner's bookplate is on the facing endpage. A small snip of paper with the US Naval Institute insignia is laid in at front. Foxing to the title page, but not throughout the book. A complete, readable copy, but with structural flaws and much wear. 495 pp., indexed, 10 black & white plates.

Signed and inscribed by the author on the title page, "To Becky - Jay Kopelman." A very good copy with wear at the bottom of the board edges and the lower spine end. Otherwise a clean, unmarked copy in solid binding - tight as if unread. Unclipped jacket is bright, attractive and adorable. Sticker remnant to the lower rear panel and a small black sharpie mark at the top of the rear panel. 196 pp., indexed, some black and white photos. The true story of an abandoned puppy and the marines who adopted him in the midst of the Iraq war.

A very good copy with some crimping to teh spine tips. Clean, tight, and unmarked. The dustjacket is not as good with a short tear and crinkling to the bottom of the front fold, wear at the panel edges, and some scuffing to the panels. 523 pp., indexed, black and white photos at center. The incredible story of Pappy Gunn and his aerial exploits in World War II.

A Good+ copy with general wear to the cover edges and a narrow crease along the rear cover. Some scuffing and fingering to the shiny covers. The interior is much better - clean, tight and unmarked. Filled with photos in black/white as well as color, this 182 pp. commemorative putlication celebrates the 100th birthday of former Taiwan President and military hero Chiang Ching-Kuo.

Signed and inscribed by former Secretary of State, Colin Powell, on the front free-endpaper in black sharpie, "To Selma, Best wishes, Cl. L. Powell. Blue hardcover in dustjacket, 14th printing. A good copy but with bumping and chipping to the base of the spine cap, and sunning along the top edge of the boards. Red reminder dot to the bottom of the textblock, and text block edges with some soiling. The interior is clean and unmarked n a solid binding. Unclipped jacket is bright and attractive, but with matching shipps to the bottom of the spine panel and a bit of ruffling and browning to the top panel edges. Minor scuffing to the rear jacket panel. 643 pp., indexed, two black and white photo sections. Powell passed on in 2021. This is his autobiography from 1995, nicely signed.

A good+ hardcover with general wear to the board edges and spine tips, and bit of loose paper at the top of the front joint. The interior of the book is like new, clean, tight, and unmarked - as if unread. The jacket is only good with fading to the spine panel and chips and creases to the panel edges and folds. 217 pp., filled with black and white illustrations and some photos. A history of the 1st Marine Division and including its legendary Guadalcanal experiences.
