Spinoff: an Annual Report: 7 Issues: 1977, 1978, 1979, 1980, 1981, 1982, and 1983

By Haggerty, James J.

NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration. Very Good+ with no dust jacket. 1977. Softcover. Softcover magazines, stapled or perfect bound. Glossy covers are rubbed, some creasing, are in VG to NF condition. . Spinoff is an annual publication of NASA. These seven issues are glossy, full-color publications, each more than 100 pages in length. Spinoff explains to the American public the secondary benefits of the space program for both the private and public sectors. Spinoff is partially self-serving, of course, to help justify the enormous costs of the space program. However, the space program has in fact been directly or indirectly responsible for a great many technological benefits outside of aerospace, and these issues of Spinoff help make this fact quite clear. The 1977 issue, for example, discusses innovations in medicine, the environment, safety, food, transportation, sports and recreation, and industrial productivity. Profusely illustrated in full color, printed on coated paper. . 4to 11" - 13" tall. >700 pages. E7 .
