Strange Abominable Snowmen

By Smith, Warren (Warren William Billy Smith, 1931-2003,aka 1/2 of "Eric Norman" with Brad Steiger)

New York: Popular Library, 1970. A nice, straight, clean and uncracked copy of this rare book, with minimal wear. There is a 1.5" slight scuff to the front cover, right about where the monster's claws are reaching to grab the man's arm. The back cover face has a few light dings. Otherwise, there's just the usual age-tone to the page paper. Well bound and unmarked. We think this is a paperback original and should be the first edition of this book, but on the back cover it says "First Time in Paperback." Was there ever a hardcover edition? We've never seen it.. Apparent First Edition. Mass Market Paperback. Very Good. 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall.

A great reference for pre-internet publications on the global phenomenon of "Bigfoot," in its many forms. Mr. Perez was incredibly thorough in his research in compiling this book. It covers books, magazines, journals, newspapers, newsletters, encyclopedias, films, recordings, radio, and even comics up to the 1980s. There's 188 pages of this stuff in here, and it would be of help to any serious researcher seeking a deeper knowledge of the topic than can be obtained in the current media in all of its hype and fake news. Highly recommended, but buy it as a reference, not for the reading or stories themselves.. Signed. First Printing, First Edition. Paperback. Very Good-. Quarto. Out of Print.
