This is an extra large paper copy with two examples of each print - both on inida paper, one marked Proof - the other a proof before letters. There is some spotting to some of the plates and staining to the edges of the first few plates. In old half leather binding which is rather worn. Inner hinges reinforced with leather. Ink owner's name of John Farr to the front free end paper. Pages here measure approximately 46.5x30 cm where in the large paper edition they are 35x25cm. This is a very large and heavy volume and extra postage will be required to send it outside the UK.

Some occasional foxing, mainly very pale, including to title page. All but 8 plates very clean, others with spotting mainly to margins. Light brown staining to inner margin of plates and pages due to over liberal use of leather treatment at some point in the past. Bound in very worn half leather, spine very cracked. Front board detached, rear board held on by parcel tape reinforcement to inner hinge. Obvious signs of removal of large bookplate to front pastedown. Ink owner's name pasted to front free end paper and another name erased. Stain to page 14. Last page a little soiled. Generally a nice copy, but in a poor binding.
