Gold on spine is quite light. Boards are faded quite evenly. Considering its age it is in very good condition with minimum spine end and corner bump and wear. From the French by Samuel Jackson. Frontispiece is hand colored and entitled 'The Decision' 'Ralph advanced towards a little monument, behind which he concealed himself'. Illustrated by Lossing. No tissue. Book is tight but ha s quite a bit of foxing. Top corner of ffep is missing. Minor penciled initials.
