This Bronx born poet was introduced to Warhol by his English professor at Wagner College: in June 1963m we went to work for Warhol as "a summer job that lasted seven years," as he like to put it. The text produced in facsimile via IBM Selectric II typewriter, Interior contents fresh.

Two issues feature Piccaso's erotic gravures and John Lennon's erotic lithographs, plus contributions by Richard Lindner and Tom Wesselmann. An attempt to capitalize on French erotica, hyped by purposely ill spelled English, and three nude illustrations as sexy as cod liver oil. Probably published in the United States as a ruse with a price of 500 Francs on the cover. The narrative content is not badly written for the right appetite.

Dignimont, Andre. 225 pages. 28.5 x 23 cm. Limited edition, copy 111 of 500. Color illustrations by Andre Dignimont and engraved on wood in colors by Gerard Angiolini. Text in French. Andre Dignimont, in a career spanning over four decades, primarily worked in illustrating books and theatre decoration. He formed a distinct personal style using washes of watercolor incorporated into pen and ink. This style perfectly evokes the emotions of this collection of Baudelaire's poetry which expresses the changing nature of beauty in modern, industrializing Paris during the 19th century and coined the term modernité (modernity) to designate the fleeting, ephemeral experience of life in an urban metropolis. Casanova illustrated with Brunelleschi panache: high socks, hi-jinks and high-camp. Bright, fresh set, backstrips slightly darkened.

Cosmpoli: Kama Shastra Society of London and Benares, 1886. Hardcover. Three quarter maroon morocco and red cloth, marbled endpapers. Teg. Near fine. 236 pages 18.5 x 13 cm. Revised and corrected edition, apparently a pirate edition printed in Alencon. Probably written between 1410 and 1434, this work achieved a reputation in the Arab world akin to the "Arabian Nights." Burton made the work known to the English speaking world, noting not all the ideas, positions et al can be attributed to the original work. The stories to give context to the manual are perhaps the most amusing. Slight nicks to backstrip head, fresh, clean copy, raised bands, spine panels decorated in gilt floral motif.
