Being a Ward Lock production there isn't the ghost of a chance of dating this accurately, but circa ealy 1920s, 4to, 144pp, 5 cold plates (of 6) present and further line drawings within text all from various contributors + illustrated endpapers by W Heath Robinson; illustrated paper-covered boards showing two little poppets picking flowers; usual light spotting to most pages with the poor quality paper + some edge wear to boards, but largely, with the exception of the one missing plate, this is a well preserved copy with clean unrubbed boards, certainly VG Copy.
