Regesta Regum Anglo-Normannorum 1066-1154, Volumes 3 and 4.


Oxford, Clarendon Press, 1969 & 1970, 4to, two volumes complete in themselves, hardbacks. Volume 3 covers the reigns of King Stephen, Empress Matilda, her husband Geoffrey and Duke Henry from 1135 to 1154. Volume 4 contains facsimiles of the original charters. Both volumes with price-clipped dust jackets, volume 3 with tears to the top of the back panel (now repaired), volume 4 with a very small tear, but they are handsome books in very good, clean condition. Heavy so may require extra postage, please enquire.

Routledge & Kegan Paul, 1967, two volumes complete, reprints of the 1937 edition. Dust jackets price-clipped, rubbed and with a repaired tear to one, but good, sound copies. Small circular stamps to backs of the title pages which may be that of the original owner as these do not appear to be ex-library copies.
