Cincinnati: The Bloch Publishing and Printing Co.. Good with no dust jacket. 1890. Sixth Edition. Hardcover. I can tell the spine strip has been glued down. The covers have paper stuck to them, as with so many cookbooks of the period. The publishers evidently did not realize that over time, their "kitchen proof" coating would stick to anything the book was left against. While the binding has it's problems, the actual content (the text block) is actually very good. A useable book, it just doesn't look so great. Well, it was printed cheaply, and it 130 years old.
