1925. Letter. Mostly to his mother in Apalachin, N.Y. while enrolled in Marion Institute and United States Navel Academy. He was the grandson of Franklin B. Tracy who was also former Secretary of the Navy. There are letterheads from the Citizens' Military Training Camp Plattsburg Barracks, NY; American Expeditionary Force 1924; Jewish Welfare Board Army and Navy Service Department; Marion Institute [8 letters] and The Army and Navy College, Marion, Alabama 1925 period and United States Navel Academy 1928 [16 letters with the Navy College seal on them] He did not finish because of eye sight problem in 1928. Include are other papers from the Academy. Afterwords, he traveled and ended up at Cornell University graduating in 1931. .
