Unfortunately, the spine cover is missing 2 pieces - approximately 1/4" each at the top and bottom of the spine. The back spine hinge has a 2" rip at the top. The cover corners are worn and slightly curled inward. The endpapers, interior text and maps are intact and in excellent condition. A history of the German people in Old German text. 512 pages.
