This is #32 of only sixty copies on Hollande paper. Jacquemart (1837-1880), an illustrator and watercolorist, is best known for his etchings, many of which are shown in this book.

Gilt-stamped on the verso of each card is: "Centennial Photographic Co. [logo] 1776-1876, Philadelphia / Edward L. Wilson & W. Irving Adams, Proprietors." Each card is 4.25" x 7" to fit into a stereoscope for viewing. The Centennial International Exhibition of 1876, the first official World's Fair in the United States, was held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, from May 10 to November 10, 1876, to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence in Philadelphia.
