One card containing two albumen images of the pews, choir loft, and sanctuary of Christ Church on Second Street, north of Market in Philadelphia. Printed on recto: "James Cremer, Photographer and Publisher, 18 South Eighth Street, Philadelphia." On the verso is a brief history of the Church, founded in 1695 and rebuilt in 1727, along with a list of the rectors since the founding. 4" x 7" to fit into a stereoscope for viewing. James Cremer (1821-1893), a British immigrant, settled in Philadelphia, learned photography, and "by 1872 he was Philadelphia's largest publisher of stereographic views. A prolific photographer, Cremer made both portraits and landscapes" [J. Paul Getty Museum).

Neff as Manager, the La Mirada Land Company sought to promote their 2,300-acre La Mirada town site and orchard tract, 17 miles southeast of Los Angeles. This booklet covers the climate of coastal California, the 1895 Tournament of Roses as Pasadena, the impressions of Dr. Chauncey Depew, Southern California colonies, access by rail, olive and lemon orchards, the surf a Long Beach, Lake Windermere, irrigation, olive oil production, uses, and profits, etc. The topographical map shows the locations and acreages of various crops on the property of the La Mirada Land Company and Windermere Ranch.
