Description:
Grosset & Dunlap, New York, 1937. Hardcover. Good+ Condition. Illustrator: Potter, Edna. Book Bound in illustrated papers over boards with red cloth at the spine. The cover is worn and somewhat dirty from handling with turned corners and loss at the corners and other parts of the edges. There is a 1/2" sticker scar in the lower part of the back cover. Vintage price tag from Lazarus for 25 cents on the inside back cover. The text block itself is tight; the paper has toned from age. The text block has only a few markings. There is some red around the edges of the front free end paper as a result of some dampness and there are some dark brown marks in the sky area of the landscape illustration opposite the first text page 47 pages.
