London: The Faith Press Ltd, 1928. First edition hardcover, without dust jacket, in good condition for its age. Boards are faded and worn, and corners and edges are bumped and rubbed. Spine is cocked and faded, and spine ends are creased and worn. Previous owner's name penned to FEP, and number to front pastedown. Page block and endpapers are heavily foxed, and some of the pages are lighlty foxed, however this does not affect the quality of the book as text is otherwise clear and bright throughout. LW. London: Williams and Norgate, 1925. Spine looks as though it survived a fire - blackened along the length with singed chips at the top and bottom. Bottom of spine is torn (about an inch or so). Smokemarks on inside cover. A few pencil lines in the margins but, other than that the text is amazingly clean, bright and tight considering the problems with the spine. A wonderfully scarce copy of this infamous work.. hardcover. Good/No Dust Jacket. Used.

Minor foxing and faint marks to some pages but overall very clean internally. Some of the gatherings are slightly loose but the spine is solid and none are detaching. Text and images are very clean throughout. DP. Hardcover. Good. Used.

St. Lazaro: Venice, 1875. Hardover in acceptable condition. No jacket. Ex-library. A few minor marks on boards. Label residue on spine foot. Spine ends and leading corners are a little bumped and worn. Plate and pocket on front pastedown. Library stamps on reverse of title page and in the volume. Hinge is reinforced on half-title page. Minor pen on reverse of title page. A few pages are nicked. Pages are tanned and foxed. Newspaper articles placed in. Hinge is visible at a few points. Contents are clear. AM. hardcover. Leading corners bent and slightly worn; spine is faded, bumped and fraying at head and foot, with some seperation of fabric from binding but remains intact. Page block sunned and uneven from cutting; pastedowns/endpapers tanned; page edges are very slightly sunned but well-preserved for age with bright, tight pages and clear content throughout. TS.
