A new range of Alice In Wonderland screenprints, from the brilliant original drawings by Sir John Tenniel. The drawings which illustrated Alice's Adventures In Wonderland and Alice Through The Looking Glass by Lewis Carroll were made by Victorian draftsman John Tenniel in the 1860s and 1870s and they pretty much define how we think of Alice. The screenprinter, John Patrick Reynolds, has developed a method to give those Victorian drawings a colouring which suits their era and gives a more nuanced look and brings out the colours. The main subject of each image is printed in black, spot-coloured and coloured the background in the same ink. The intended effect is to emphasise the character but tie them firmly into the overall picture. These handmade Printer's Proof prints are on white, mould-made 300gsm Somerset paper, milled in the St Cuthbert Mill in the West Country.

A fabulous lithograph depicting a Native American warrior use a longbow. The hand signed print which is partly coloured and partly monochrome strikes a wonderful balance between a finished piece and a revealing, intimate drawing process particular to Serpieri. Serpieri has gained world renown for his powerful depictions of female characters whom are often denuded or in various states of undress. He is possibly best known for his work on the Druuna erotic science fiction series which was also made into a computer game.

Manara, the master of provocative comic art, has turned his hand to the historical subject of the French Revolution of 1789 for this image, to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the Revolution. The Image shows members of the aristocracy before the revolution had begun, enjoying a care free and privileged existence. Manara's work is prized by comic art collectors, and on the International comics scene, he is regarded as one of the greatest comic artists alive today. This print is signed in pencil at the bottom right hand corner.
