This is volume 85 from the Fathers of the Church series from this publisher and is a new translation from the original Latin by John Ferguson. Well footnoted throughout and with a 4 page select bibliography, an 18 page index of proper names and subjects and a 7 page index of scripture references. The library markings, none of which are external, are stamps on the front free end paper, the title page and the copyright page with unused library attachments on the back free end papers. Otherwise the book appears to have been used very little if at all. A clear and removable archival cover has been fitted. .
