Illustrated with 17 full page sepia toned plates one of which is the frontis piece. Carlo da Sezzo,1613-1670, was a lay brother of the Friars Minor and was beatified by Pope Leo XIII in 1882. Five page preface by Piero Chiminelli TF and a 9 page introduction by the editor, P. Severino Gori OFM. Sixty-eight chapters with footnotes followed by an 11 page appendix which includes a short bibliography. Minor wear to the yapped edges of the covers, moderate wear to the spine tips and some light general soiling to the covers. Otherwise clean with a sound binding. A clear and removable archival cover has been fitted. .

The dust jacket is quite worn and a tad sunned with tape repairs on the inside. .

The front free end paper and the frontis piece photograph of Thérèse in her Carmelite habit 3 months before she died have been neatly removed. A clear and removable archival cover has been fitted. .

First published in 1953, this is a re-issue (approbations are dated 2000) of the third edition which was translated by Rev. Berchmans Bittle, OFMCap. The third edition was a revision of the original 1953 edition and is a more accurate and thorough translation of this autobiography. Illustrated with 17 pages of photographs, most of which are in colour and one of which is a black and white frontis peice of Mother Mary Teresa. A clean, tight volume in a fine condition with the exception of a remainder dot on the tail edge of the text block. The unclipped dust jacket has minor edgewear and some light scuffing. .

This is volume 55 from the Fathers of the Church series from this publisher and is a new translation from the original Latin by Ludwig Bieler with the collaboration of Ludmilla Krestan. Illustrated with one simple black and white map of the "Noricum Ripense" area of Italy. Well footnoted throughout and with a 2 page bibliography, a 7 page general index and a 1 and a bit page index of scripture references. The bottom fore corner of the front free end paper has been clipped and a large clip it is. Otherwise the book appears to have been used very little if at all. A clear and removable archival cover has been fitted. .
