Description:
Thomas Allen Publishers, Toronto. 2004. 311 Pages. First Edition. Dust Jacket. Hard Cover. On June 6, 1944, nearly 15,000 Canadians - at sea, in the air, and on the ground - joined the long-anticipated D-Day invasion of Nazi occupied Europe on the Normandy beaches. This book is in a near fine condition. The text is clean and the binding is tight. The red cloth boards remain dark with no signs of fading. The dust jacket is undamaged and retains the shine of a new book. This is an excellent buy for anyone interested in military history or Canadian history.
