Very Good; Hardcover; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 162 pp. bound in blue green decorated and signed cloth binding (Margaret Armstrong); gilt, white and light green stamping; top edge gilt. 8 color plates plus title page vignette. Clean cover, firmly bound, overall bright; moderate ear & shallow fraying to spine ends. Gilt on front cover quite bright, a bit of scuffing to light green portion of design. Gilt on spine faded but intact. Previous owner's name on front endpaper. Foxing on title page and opposite. Bright, clean pages, no other signs of foxing. All illustrations present and bright. A lovely copy of this George W. Cable classic. .
