Top edges gilt Slight wear to edges and corners of covers. Limited edition 236 of 400 copies released for sale of 410 copies made. SIGNED by Rackham on the limitation page. Illustrated endpapers, the front and read "pastedowns" bit wavy as they are attached to the covers at the edges, not pasted entirely on the reverse. 4 plates in color, several other large and small b&w illustrations, including silhouettes at the half title and rear. Original slipcase is fair, with wear at all corners and splitting at top edge with an old bit of tape. Title label still easily legible on spine, and hand numbered "236", noting the limitation and matching the book's limitation. A lovely uncommon copy of this classic fairy tale, with entertaining and fanciful illustrations by Rackham.
