Interior illustrations and plans done by a variety of artists and architects. Cover illustration of St. Vedas in London, repaired by Chirstohehr Wren after the Great Fire. From the foreword: "If we do not make a City of London worthy of the spirit of those who fought the Battle of BRitain and the battle of London, posterity wil rise and curse us for unimaginative fools". Sadly, Casson's ideas were not implemented.
