Staples rusty, light foxing, pencil notation on front cover, with light damp mark on covers and first few leaves. In a protective mylar sleeve.

Three cards are detached [two of which have scribbles on them]. Lacks the front cover, age toned. Text in French and English.

Virginia, 1920 Circa 1920. Three Unused Transfer Tags "Tack This On Your Hogshead" for the transfer of Leaf Tobacco to W. T. Fowlkes Acree's Warehouse in Danville, Virginia. Two cards show the proprietors as M. O. Nelson, W. T. Fowlkes and J. E. Neal. One card shows the Proprietors as J. P. Acree and M. O. Nelson. Now housed in a protective mylar sleeve. Tags measure approximately 3-1/2" tall by 5-1/2" wide [postcard sized]. Light foxing, fold on one card, edge wear on the other two.

Light foxing, small stain on one tag. Now housed in a protective mylar sleeve. Tags measure approximately 3-1/2" tall by 5-1/2" wide [postcard sized].

Cognac, France, with descriptive advertising on the back, in French, 6-3/4" tall. *Book Mark from Lauriat Co., "Boston's Leading Bookstore", with backside being advertising for The First National Bank of Boston, both sides showing photographic images, measures 7-1/8" tall. *Williamsburg Bibliophiles, mounted on marbled paper, and encased in protective plastic, measures 8-5/8" tall, top corners turned under. *Hand painted Colonial scene of a woman in a long red dress, sitting at a spinning wheel on the front porch of a mansion, mounted on plain white stock, 5" tall, lower edge stain. *Advertising book mark from The Macmillan Company, 7-5/8" tall, upper/lower borders sunned.
