Color illustrated wraps over black and white illustrated wraps. 32 pp., including inner wrap and rear advertising page. A reprint of a dime novel, perhaps the first of the Deadwood Dick series, attributed to Edward Wheeler, self-described 'sensationalist novelist' although perhaps ghost written by Jesse Cowdrick (see Southern Illinois University Library website). GOOD condition. Outer wrappers split along the hinges and somewhat tenuously attached. Moderate to heavy browning. Some chipping and minor tearing along the extremities. Staples rusted. Faint pencil note on the upper front cover, with a number impressed near the same locale.

A pulp novel reprint blending the genres of crime and westerns. GOOD condition. Moderate browning and faint spotting to the front cover, with general soiling and fading. A few faint, small dampstains present to the wraps. Minor creasing. Two chips to the wraps along the front fore edge, with minor tearing along the spine. Interior clean and solid with heavy browning to the paper.

Moderate to heavy wear to the wraps, with the lower front corner wrap missing along a diagonal, as well as the upper and lower rear corners of the rear wrap. Lower corner missing about a 2 by 3 inch area. Lower half of the spine wrapper missing, with moderate to heavy chipping along the extremities. Creasing, soiling and fading to the wraps, with faint dampstaining to the rear wrap. Moderate to heavy browning to the text, with minor scattered soiling.
